I highly recommend having a heart-to-heart informal chat (or fun interview) with your children at the end of the year if you don't already do so.  It can truly open your eyes to new things and can help you learn more about what your children like and dislike. Alyssa enjoyed sharing her thoughts with me and asking me questions as well.

I will link this post up at Through the Calm and Through the Storm Blogging Through the Alphabet Linky. This week the emphasis is on Letter I. Come join the fun!

  2. Thanks for sharing all of her answers. My daughter enjoyed Descendants, too. I have to ask -- what's Sausage Biscuit casserole?

    1. Here is the link to the recipe we used. Visit http://www.messforless.net/sausage-egg-and-biscuit-breakfast-casserole/. We used ground sausage instead of patties. I also used 19 oz of biscuits, because it was what I had on hand and I didn't want to waste anything. We ate it for several days! But . . . it is just the two of us. It filled a 9x13 pan. Saved me time in the kitchen. let me know what you think. I want to try adding gravy to the recipe as well.
